Wildberries invests 200 billion euros to Slovakia

Prospering Russian online store is about to create its logistics center in Slovakia

Slovakia proved to be a promising destination for Russian export again: in the nearest five years Wildberries plans to build a logistics hub here and to use it for entering the EU market. This was reported at the session of the intergovernmental commission of Russia and Slovakia by the Head of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, Denis Manturov, and General Director of the company, Tatiana Bakalchuk.

The result of the plans nurtured by Wildberries should be 200 billion euros invested into creation of 15 thousand jobs. The Slovak government expressed its readiness to support this project by all means, and through the Slovak Investment and Trade Development agency (SARIO) as well.

Wildberries Company existing since 2004 is presently one of the largest Russian online retailers.

According to Infoline, the income of the company over the first six months of 2019 amounted to 85 billion rubles.
